Children under the age of 4 are statistically at the highest risk of drowning. We believe one death is too many.
Allowing rescue professionals to train in the most realistic way possible is key to reducing the number of drowning deaths.
A further exciting collaboration between Ruth Lee and the medical simulation experts at Lifecast Body Simulation.
Let us introduce you to the Trauma Rescue Manikin, designed to allow you to train for difficult rescues and extrication, while providing essential first aid for traumatic injuries including heavy bleeding. This manikin has several options, depending on your requirements.
Our dog manikins are perfect for training with other teams and even multi-agency exercises involving helicopters (air rescue), the Coastguard and Mountain Rescue organisations.
They are constructed in water repellent Polyester, a material which typically has 4 times the strength and abrasion resistance of canvas or PVC – making our dog manikin very strong and durable.
Tragically, death by suicide is an increasing problem in society. Institutions within the fields of Mental Health Care, Learning Disability, Police, Prisons, Care Homes and other high risk environments who face and need to manage suicides and self harm on a regular basis, must equip their staff with the right training to safely and sensitively manage such scenarios, including the use of a hook knife to properly release a ligature.

The use of Conducted Energy Devices (CEDs) such as Tasers for subduing potential criminals is growing and it is therefore important that officers and security specialists have training in the use of CEDs, to minimise the risk of injury. Our CED Training Vest and Leg Guard can be worn by any adult Ruth Lee Manikin, letting repetitive learning take place as the necessary skills are acquired.
Designed specifically for training officers and special operatives on the use of Conducted Energy Devices. The kit comes complete with a CED Vest which fits over the top of a Ruth Lee Manikin, and a leg guard that can be fitted over the lower limb of the manikin.
